so he made a mistake . . . actually a few!

at first, i too was gravely disappointed.

i thought he was different. I thought he said change. i thought we were headed in a newer - bolder - direction.

but, alas. it seems our new president has tripped up. i'm not sure i really fault him for his '3 strikes out' in regard to nominees. i've always known he is loyal to a fault.

but the stimulus bill that isn't - never ever should've.

ok, wait a sec . . . i still believe mistakes, even the big ones - especially the big ones - create amazing learning opportunities. no, really. i mean this. (hell, i've lived this!)

to make this right - our president will have to do what we all must do. Number one, admit mistake. (done). number two, forget about winning and concentrate on on right-ing. (working on it). and number three, be willing to venture fly in the face of those who choose to remain stuck. (uh-oh, nancy)

so it seems all lessons do not come from a mat. some can come from a senate floor. and i believe, in the end, president obama will learn his.

with the end result exceeding all expectations. wait and watch . . .
